Locating the temple may take many unproductive hours of your gameplay, if you don’t know where to look. But all you need is to follow this guide, and soon, you will arrive at this secret location.

How to Find the Temple of Million Years in Assassin’s Creed: Origins

The location of the temple is marked by a red circle

Step 1: Speak to Nehi in Letopolis

You will start the New Kid in Town side quest in the town of Letopolis located in the south-eastern part of Sapi-Res Nome. At the entrance of the city, you will see a preacher in white robes speaking to a number of people. Talk to him and he will ask you to speak to Nehi.

Nehi’s farm is located in the western part of the town, where you will find him in a desparate position – his cart with a couple of oxen has gone missing in the desert outside of town. He will ask you to bring them back.

Step 2: Investigate the Mysterious Hieroglyphs

Follow the marker on the map and set out into the desert. Fight a gang of thugs that stole the cart, and bring it back to Nehi. As a result, Nehi will reveal to you that there are some strange-looking hieroglyphs inside his house. He will also suggest that you speak to Ramessu, since he knows a lot more about these things than anyone else in the town.

Ramessu turns out to be the preacher from the beginning of the quest, who will admit that these writings on the wall have been reported by three other people in the town. Use your Senu vision to detect all three locations in Letopolis, and speak to the owners of those places about the hieroglyphs.

Step 3: Find the Temple of Million Years

After you visit all three houses, the final message about the location of the secret temple will be revealed. It seems that the temple is located to the west of Letopolis (see the screenshot above for exact location), and is guarded by stone lionesses.

Head out to the west of town, and soon you will arrive at the sight of giant statues that are guarding the hidden entrance into the temple buried under the sand dunes.

You will need to deal with a few thugs guarding the area, and then you will be able to enter the temple through a crack in the wall.
